The level of influenza activity in Kentucky remains at widespread activity. The chart showing State Public Health Laboratory-confirmed cases of flu and confirmed H1N1-related deaths reported in Kentucky has been updated.

H1N1-related deaths were reported this week in Logan, Boone, Fayette and Breathitt counties, bringing the state's total to 33 reported deaths associated with H1N1. All of the individuals involved had underlying medical conditions.

Check out the recently-launched Flu Shot Locator created through a partnership with Google and the federal government, which allows individuals to search for H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccine clinics or availablity by zip code or location, or browse Kentucky H1N1 vaccine clinics scheduled by local health departments.
